This October, subscribers can expect streamlined course catalogs that are easier to navigate, plus 45 new Power Skills courses. Just a reminder that Standard Plan, Custom Plan, and Bank Compliance Bundle subscriptions end Sept. 30, 2022.

With the renewal season upon us for several of our online training plans and bundles, we are planning catalog updates for the next year. Here's what's on the docket.

It’s almost renewal time for Standard Plan, Custom Plan, and Bank Compliance Bundle subscribers. Renewal invoices for the next subscription year will be delivered via email the week of July 19 to the individual at the bank who purchased the online training subscription.

Summer unofficially kicks off next week! During this time of year, we tend to see a lull in training for a couple of reasons. Keep reading to find out what those are and we're overcoming that lull.

Meet Lori Braegelmann, Online Training Specialist with ICBA’s Community Banker University! Lori will be taking over for Cathy Von Wahlde, who retires on May 2.

I would venture to guess that nearly every one of you have talked with Cathy VonWhalde here at Community Banker University at least once. Some of you may talk to her monthly. I am excited, proud, and saddened to share the news that after 31 years with ICBA, Cathy has decided to live the good life and retire on May 2, 2022.

Fair Lending has always been a hot button during regulatory examinations. But with the change in administration, the CFPB has made it quite clear that fair lending will be at the forefront for the enforcement of consumer protection laws. Because of this, fair lending training is a must for the majority of bank staff.

Our Online training catalog continues to expand as we break down those long and tough regulatory compliance courses into bite-sized sections. This month we tackled the Flood Disaster Protection Act and added four new courses that detail specific parts of the law.
