Washington, D.C. (July 8, 2024) —The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) announced its upcoming ICBA ThinkTECH Accelerator program Showcase will take place at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC). The showcase, which marks the culmination of the latest Accelerator program (AP7), is part of ICBA’s commitment to fostering collaborative community bank-fintech partnerships that reflect current market dynamics and future customer needs.
Supporting ICBA's ongoing efforts to meet community bankers where they live and work, ICBA Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer Charles Potts, and Senior Vice President, Innovation Programs Wayne Miller will present to GSBC’s graduating class on July 22, which will precede the AP7 Showcase hosted by GSBC and accessible to its nearly 500 student body on July 24.
“Our mission is to create an environment in which community banks flourish, and a key part of this is meeting bankers across the country and highlighting the impactful solutions that address their specific needs to advance our members’ innovation journeys,” said Potts. “Bringing the latest ThinkTECH Accelerator cohort’s solutions to this year’s esteemed GSBC graduates enables us to connect these innovative bankers with the solutions that can help power the future potential of their institutions.”
Focused on analytics, automation, and compliance, presenting companies will showcase their refined solutions and help community banks execute their strategic goals and business objectives. Presenting companies include:
Prelim Technologies: A no-code platform for customer onboarding processes, which helps banks digitize their services, streamline account opening, and enhance customer experiences.
Rego Payment Architectures: A white-label family lifecycle platform tailored for financial institutions that helps kids to manage and spend money within a parent-controlled environment.
FINBOA: An analytics and process automation platform that simplifies and streamlines payment dispute processing, improving regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
RiskScout: Offering cloud-based tools to help community banks grow and become more efficient, unlocking new markets and deposit streams while automating back-office workflows.
ScribeUp: A best-in-class embedded subscription management solution allowing users to track, cancel, and lower their subscription bills from a single location.
Savvi AI: An AI platform that helps banks build, launch, and manage AI apps to help forecast charge-offs, predict loan volumes, forecast deposits, and increase loan offer uptake.
Hosted each July at the University of Colorado Boulder, GSBC’s 25-month program delivers a relevant and challenging curriculum that deepens students' understanding of community banking through applied coursework and intersession research projects, including an in-depth view of the innovative technologies and strategies that are defining the community banking landscape.
“One of our primary goals is ensuring community bank leaders have access to right-sized solutions to set them on the path for the long-term success of their institutions,” said Michael Stevens, president and CEO at GSBC. “This event represents a natural intersection between GSBC and ICBA’s goals, furthering community bank innovation through the introduction of cutting-edge solutions tailored to their unique needs."
