The numbers show this month’s launch of the ICBA Community online platform has been well-received by community bankers, ICBA’s Vanessa Hanson writes in a new blog post.
New Blog Post: On Main Street Matters, ICBA’s director of digital and social engagement says nearly 1,000 community bankers joined the platform within 72 hours of the July 11 launch, posting more than 100 messages about leading industry topics.
Background: ICBA Community provides professional networking and discussion opportunities exclusively for community bankers. The online platform is optimized for mobile experience (Apple and Google) and focused on driving peer-to-peer discussions, networking and mentorship opportunities, and gathering feedback to guide ICBA’s future initiatives.
Outlook: “As the nation’s voice for community banks, ICBA remains committed to delivering relevant products and services for our members, so we’re thrilled to see this positive engagement in the initial rollout stage of our online community,” Hanson writes. “Our goal is for those robust discussions to continue about issues that are affecting, and will affect, our industry.”
