Finastra honored with 2020 Microsoft US Partner award
Lake Mary, FL, US - July 24, 2020 –
Finastra today announced it has been honored with a
2020 Microsoft US Partner Award in the category of Financial Services. The MSUS Award program complements the global Microsoft Partner of the Year Award program and highlights US-specific partner impact. This marks the second year that Finastra has received recognition from Microsoft for its partnership, having received the top honor of Microsoft Alliance Global ISV Partner of the Year in 2019, for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
“Finastra is extremely proud to be recognized once again for our commitment to bringing financial services to the cloud with Azure,” said Chris Zingo, SVP and GM of Americas Field Operations, Finastra. “We help our customers deliver on their cloud banking goals — from start-ups making their first technology selection, through to established institutions planning their cloud technology roadmap. Our commitment is to offer financial institutions the choice of cloud deployment for all major Finastra products.”
This recognition from Microsoft Corp. is reflective of Finastra’s vision and mission to unlock the power of finance by bringing its financial technology solutions and open platform,
FusionFabric.cloud, to the cloud. Today, there are 3,000 banks and financial institutions already supported by both companies across payments, lending, treasury and retail banking on Azure. These institutions consume rather than own and run core applications, freeing up IT resources to enable them to focus on competitiveness and growth. Other benefits of cloud delivery include faster access to innovation, transformation at scale, and accelerated time to market. Finastra’s cloud solutions are based on over a decade’s experience delivering proprietary cloud banking solutions.
“It is an honor to recognize the winners and finalists of the Microsoft 2020 Partner of the Year Awards,” said Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft. “These partners go above and beyond, delivering timely solutions that solve the complex challenges that businesses around the world face — from communicating and collaborating virtually to helping customers realize their full potential with Azure cloud services, and beyond. I am proud to honor and congratulate each winner and finalist.”
