Understand payments. Our RM team has decades of payments experience between them, so you have a wealth of industry, processor, and payments (including credit, debit and merchant processing and beyond) knowledge at your service. Utilize the benefits we offer. In one recent consult, an RM drew attention to a fraud incident that was viewable in the bank’s ACE Portfolio Tool profit and loss report. Through this conversation, it was confirmed the bank participated in our Fraud Loss Protection Plan, but had not sent in a fraud claim. The bank could potentially have recuperated some of those losses and improved their ROI but wasn’t aware they were leaving money on the table. Having a conversation helped the banker realize the services available as an ICBA Payments client, so they could start utilizing all their benefits.
