Noah Yosif Named Assistant Vice President, Economic Policy and Research

Washington, D.C. (March 12, 2019)—The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) announced today that Noah Yosif has joined its government relations team as assistant vice president of economic policy and research. In this new role, Yosif will lead ICBA’s community bank-focused economic and financial policy research.

“Noah’s experience in working with industry stakeholders will be invaluable in the years ahead as we use data and forecasting to reinforce the positive impact of the nation’s community banks—all in an effort to further serve ICBA’s mission of creating and promoting an environment where community banks flourish,” said Karen Thomas, ICBA senior executive vice president of government relations and public policy. “We are pleased to welcome Noah to ICBA’s government relations team.”

Before joining ICBA, Yosif served as an economist in the Office of Productivity and Technology at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He also served as an economic assistant for the Treasury Department, a research assistant for Fannie Mae, and as an analyst for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Yosif holds a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs and economics from The George Washington University (GWU) and is completing coursework towards a Master of Arts in Applied Economics from GWU.
