What’s New

On April 17, the following course changes were made: 

  • The course, “From Peer to Supervisor” was updated with fresh content. 

  • The course, “Diversity in the Workplace” was updated with fresh content and the title of the course was changed to “Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace”. 

  • The course, “Life Cycle of a Leaves of Absence” was removed from the course catalog and replaced with a newly updated course titled, “Leaves of Absence [California]”. 

On April 23, the following HSA and IRA courses were updated with the appropriate 2024 Cost of Living Adjustments:

  • Funding HSAs

  • HSA Distribution Issues

  • HSA Introduction and Establishment

  • HSA Portability and Compliance

  • IRA Contributions

  • IRA Distributions

  • IRA to IRA Transfers and Rollovers

  • Traditional IRA RMDs

On April 26:

  • The Non-deposit Investment Products (NDIP) course was updated with the new FDIC rules (Dec. 2023) regarding signage, notifications and advertising that are effective April 1, 2024, but mandatory by January 1, 2025.

  • A new course titled “FDIC Membership Signage & Notifications” was launched. This course covers the new FDIC Membership rules that were finalized December 2023 with an effective date of April 1, 2024, but mandatory by January 1, 2025.

What’s Coming

Several new courses on the new Small Business Lending Rules will be launched in early May. There will be an In-Depth course for compliance personnel, a Practical Application course for commercial lenders and several shorter topic-specific courses. Check out the What’s New tab periodically versus waiting for the May 2024 newsletter to find out when they are launched.

Did You Know?

Did you know there is a report option in the Learning Management System that allows you to see how many times it took an employee to pass a course test? When in the Administration tab, click the button next to “Detailed Score History for All Courses.” Then click the Excel icon at the top left to export the report into a filterable report. There will be a line item for each attempt on each course for each learner. Remember, passing score on all courses is 80%.
