Mickey Marshall is assistant vice president and regulatory counsel for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). In this role he is responsible for advocacy related to fair lending laws and the Community Reinvestment Act and assists ICBA’s government relations department in researching and developing policy positions that benefit the nation’s community banks.

A frequent speaker at industry events, Marshall is often quoted in publications including S&P Global Market Intelligence, American Banker, and CQ Roll Call.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Youngstown State University in Ohio. He has a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in financial services regulation law from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School in Virginia.
