Chip Lynch is Southwest Region senior vice president for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). As an ICBA member relationship officer, Lynch ensures ICBA members have the information and tools they need to make the most of their ICBA membership.

He has more than 30 years of financial service experience, which he applies to help member banks address industry challenges and meet their business goals. He also works with non-members to showcase how ICBA can help them meet their business goals.

Prior to joining ICBA in 2005, Lynch served as vice president and senior lender for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas. Lynch began his banking career in 1985 as a retail banking officer in Dallas.

His career has included positions in retail lending, deposits, construction, residential, commercial lending, correspondent banking and capital markets. His positions gave him a broad and deep level of experience in managing liquidity, investments, lending and interest rate risk.
