Vanessa Hanson is ICBA's Director of Digital and Social Engagement. In this role, she optimizes and executes ICBA’s social media brand presence and peer-to-peer, word of mouth, and online community strategy and implementation. Vanessa has experience in helping brands and organizations evolve their visibility by making data-driven decisions to meet strategic goals.
Vanessa has over twelve years of experience, where she has worked for non-profit clients along with government, associations, and a tech startup. She has been responsible for various social media campaigns, event planning, and coordinating along with managing content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and internal alerts. Most recently, she worked at UnidosUS, the largest Latino civil rights organization in the country, where she oversaw all social media efforts within the organization.
Her social media efforts range from large annual events to new policy efforts and many campaigns in between. Vanessa received her bachelor's in Communications with a minor in Business from George Mason University.
