Stephanie has more than ten years of experience providing audit and attestation services to financial services companies. This experience includes developing internal audit programs and systems, assisting with FDICIA internal control structure implementations and reviews, and consulting services and external audits for financial service companies and investment funds.
Over the last several years, she has been the Houston office ACL champion and chaired the ACL committee which provided data mining solutions for BKD audit teams. She has served on the firm’s national innovation committee, including a specialized audit subcommittee, the national FDICA task force, and the national asset management subcommittee.
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, in 2010 with a B.A. degree in accounting and from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia, in 2011 with an M.Acc. degree. In 2016, Stephanie completed the Texas Tech University School of Banking program.
