Kathy Gauger is lead assistant vice president of member relations for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). In this role, Gauger represents community banks in the Southwest and Northwest regions to ensure that ICBA members have the information and tools they need to make the most of their membership.
She also applies her financial services experience and knowledge to help member banks address industry challenges and meet their business goals and to showcase how ICBA can help nonmembers meet their business objectives.
Before joining ICBA in 2019, Gauger spent more than 20 years with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. During her time there, she worked as a client relations manager where she identified and solved customer issues; served as a mentor, coach, and leader for her teammates; and was a trusted compliance advisor.
Gauger received her bachelor’s degrees in communications and psychology from St. Cloud State University. She holds a master in Organizational Leadership from Augsburg University and a Customer Experience (CX) certification from Minnesota State University.
