Bob is a 40-year community bankers who currently serves as a Relationship Manager and former Community President for SouthState Bank, a $45 Billion bank headquartered in Winter Haven, Florida (NYSE: SSB). Bob handles customers and civic activities in Gainesville, Florida – home of the University of Florida.

During Bob’s banking career, he has held various roles including a Credit Analyst, Commercial lender for Barnett Bank; Senior Lender for the $100 Million Millennium Bank; County President and Senior Lender for the $300 Million Alarion Bank; Community President for Alachua and Marion Countries for the $2 Billion Harbor Community Bank and as Regional President for CenterState / SouthState Bank. As an executive starting two community banks, Bob developed all aspects of their lending programs from the Loan Policy, strategy, hiring and regulatory interactions for fourteen years.

Bob is also a past instructor for the American Institute of Banking (AIB) for Principles of Banking, Consumer Lending, and Law & Banking. He has been an active member of the Florida Bankers Association and the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA). At ICBA, Bob has been a member of the Tax Committee, member and Past Chair of the Bank Education Committee, member of the Federal Delegate Board and member of the Board of Directors.
